A word about the artist:

Bastien Lecouffe Deharme was born on the shores of Brittany (France) at the beginning of the eighties. His artwork evolves at the crossroad of modern and ancient myths and legends, forgotten tales and tragedies. Bastien’s artwork can be seen in publications and exhibitions worldwide, including the cover of the emblematic Spectrum Fantastic Artbook.
And about his book:

The book is a collection of works and it contains selected art from over 20 years. Bastien shows his favorite pieces, and personal approaches and tells some anecdotes about the creation of his artworks. Drawing, painting, and photography, are all the mediums he likes to mix into his digital creations. From cursed medieval symbols to Noir SciFi, the same thematics remains between the lines.
BL8D is a massive 480-pages hardcover book (A4 size). The emblem on the cover and the book's spine is debossed in red. The texts are bilingual, in English and French. Moon-white with blood-red paper edges and logos, it comes with a slipcase and all copies will have a signed bookplate, as well as 48 extra pages full of Bastien's photography, reference shots for his artwork, and insights into his creations. You can think of it as a "behind the scenes" to his numerous artworks made for his own projects or for his clients.
