Fred Rambaud is an illustrator and concept artist based in Montreal, Canada. Some twenty years ago, he began publishing his character designs online – he hasn't stopped since. At the same time, he has been involved in a wide range of projects in the entertainment industry. For example, he created sketches for the video game Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. He also worked on Assassin's Creed: Syndicate and Assassin's Creed: Odyssey for Ubisoft. He also collaborates with other studios, including Activision, Warner and Netease. Today, he works as a freelancer, offering his design, illustration and visual development services on his own website.
When it comes to his art, Fred Rambaud mainly illustrates characters. He brings to them his recognizable touch, marked by absurdity and darkness. He tries to give a maximum of personality and a fresh look to familiar faces from horror, comics and action adventure.
Art.Box: Fred Rambaud is an art-zine dedicated to the universe of illustrator Fred Rambaud.
