Jaouen Slaün is a french drawer born in the south of France in 1979. He only discovered drawing in 1995 with Moëbius, Gillon, Liberatore and Gimenez. From that point, he developed a passion for everything that is related with images. He followed a school curriculum at Emile Cohl’s School from 1999 to 2003.
He first illustrated a lot of textbooks, child’s books, playing cards… Then he taught perspective during 2 years in an interior design school. In 2006, he drew his first comic called “Nova” with a Julien Blondel’s scenario.
He then made the first book of Carthago’s Adventures with a Christophe Bec’s scenario.
In 2009, he joined, as an advertising story-boarder, the Pavillon noir’s agency with whom he still works today.
Between 2014 and 2017, he drew the Eternum series, with Christophe Bec again.
Since 2017, he closely works with the Carbone magazine which explores the Pop Culture.
