Born in 1974, Alex Alice is passionate about animation and comics. While studying at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, he developed projects for stories in images. In 1993, he met Xavier Dorison who suggested the beginnings of their future comic book The Third Testament. Together, the two students wrote this story of adventure and esoteric investigation through Europe in the Middle Ages.
He graduated from ESCP Europe in 1997, the year they managed to convince the Glénat publishing house to publish this story. Largely influenced by Umberto Ecco, The Third Testament quickly became a success and heralded the wave of esoteric thrillers that would mark the change of millennium.
In 2003, with the fourth album, The Third Testament finds its conclusion. Alex Alice then decided to devote himself to Siegfried (Dargaud), a rereading of the tetralogy The Ring of the Nibelung by Richard Wagner, in the form of a trilogy.
Since then, he devotes himself to the series Castle in the Stars (Rue de Sèvres).
