Stephan Martinière is a French-born science fiction and fantasy artist, cartoonist, concept illustrator and visual art director; and the list may even go on! From feature films, illustrations, animation, video games to even theme parks, the renowned works of this science-fiction & fantasy artist seem to have left their mark on popular culture. As a concept illustrator or art director, he notably contributed to cinematic masterpieces such as Episodes 2 & 3 of the Star Wars saga, 300: Rise of an Empire (2014), Tron: Legacy (2010), Ready Player One (2018) or Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). The public may also have enjoyed his illustrations on the cover of books published by National Geographic, Penguin Random House, or Dark Horse.
Currently living in the United States, Stephan Martinière is now a freelance illustrator-designer.
