Stefan Koidl is a freelance illustrator and Krampus mask carver, living in Hallein, Austria. He has worked as a freelancer for multiple clients such as Dark Horse Comics, Hi-Rez Studios, Ravensburger, Rhino Games, Adreama Games, to name a few.

"I love to draw images that tell a story, and I believe that paintings should evoke a viewer’s feelings and make them think. I especially like to paint creepy and dark stuff — I find it thrilling to 'play' with a viewer’s fear."
