More info

Frank Frazetta, the American legend:

Frank Frazetta has been the undisputed master of Fantasy Art for 50 years, and since his death, his fame has only grown. His powerful paintings depicting Tarzan, Conan, Vampirella and his famous Death Dealer depict fictional worlds and the bodies that inhabit them: muscular, carnal and sensual. He started his comic book career at the age of 16. After a few press strikes, he joined the famous EC Comics house and signed oil paintings for covers of Tarzan or Conan pulp. Many other artists interpreted these characters before him, but as he explained in the 1970s: "I think very physically. In Brooklyn, I met Conan, I knew guys like him."
That's how he used his personal experience to create his characters and such a rich universe that have made him the master of fantasy and science fiction over the past 50 years.
