Born in 1970, Didier Graffet is graduated from École Émile Cohl in Lyon. He started out as an independent illustrator in the world of role playing before producing covers of fantasy works. Born in 1970, Didier Graffet is graduated from École Émile Cohl in Lyon. He started out as an independent illustrator in the world of role playing before producing covers of fantasy works. In 2001, he illustrated Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea novel, published by the Editions Gründ, and was awarded by the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire and a Jules Verne Award. He joined the Jules Verne studio for which he created several festival posters and took over the artistic direction of the documentary film Passage to Mars.
Many exhibitions of his works were putting on in museums and galleries.
