CHEN Mingjue Helen

Mingjue Helen Chen is a Chinese artist born in Beijing before moving to the US. She studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. 

She has worked for many different animation studios, such as the Jim Henson Company, Paramount, BaseFX, and Disney, where she worked on Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph, Paperman, and more recently, as a production designer on Raya and the Last Dragon. She currently works as a production designer at Sony Pictures Animation and contributed to the KPop: Demon Hunters and The Wish Dragon movies. Chen also worked on several comic books, including Marvel’s Silk and DC’s Gotham Academy and Batgirl.
