Sylvain Runberg was born in Belgium in 1971. Since 2044, he published over 70 comic books. His work has been translated in 15 languages. His scenarios tackle all kind of genres. He is famous for Orbital, Reconquêtes, Face Cachée (Silver Prize of International Manga Award in Tokyo in 2011), Les Carnets de Darwin, London Calling, Warship Jolly Roger; as well as the adaptation of Stieg Larsson's Bestseller, Millenium. In 2011, Sylvain starts to work for Glénat with a dark fantasy comic book series inspired by the scandinavian mythology: Konungar. Since then, he has published L'Ombre des Shinobis with Zhifeng, set in medieval Japan, Sonar with Chee, where he get interested in mermaids; Le Chant des Runes, a fantastic detective story set in nowadays Sweden; and more...
