The Brizzi brothers, Paul and Gaêtan were born in December 1951 and worked thoughtout their life as artists, illustrators and movie directors in France. They worked under Paul Grimault (one of the directors of The King and the Mockingbird) during their formative years as artists.
They won several prizes for their work, including the Prix de Rome in 1976 and an oscar in 1977 for their short movie Fracture that you can find on youtube.
Paul is currently living in the US whereas Gaëtan is still in France. Working perfectly together, even from afar, the Brizzi brothers still continue to draw and illustrate their favorite stories.
