Samir Dahmani was born in the early 1980s in Montbéliard (France). He studied comic illustration in Angoulême were he met Korean students and exchanged a lot with them. Samir Dahmani was born in the early 1980s in Montbéliard (France). He studied comic illustration in Angoulême were he met Korean students and exchanged a lot with them. Life in Korea will be the subject of his first comic book. He visits South Korea in 2013, where he spends 2 months in Bucheon for an artist residency. He goes back in 2014 and even spends a whole year there. He studies Korean history and language at Chungnam National University. Back to France in 2016, he develops a project with Yunbo about expatriation.
