Peter de Sève is one of the greatest American illustrators of his time. He has worked a lot in the publishing and press field and notably for the New Yorker, a reference if ever there was one.
He is considered as one of the best character designer and worked with the most popular animation studios on films such as The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, The Prince of Egypt, Mulan, A Bug’s Life, Tarzan, Robots… His most famous creations are the wacky fauna of Nemo and above all the zany animals of Ice Age.
Beside his work for cinema, Peter de Sève has been art director for advertisements, including one for Nike, Destination Moon, for which he received the Society of Illustrator’s highly distinguished Hamilton King Award.
