New Releases: The Twelve Days of Christmas Cats and Dogs
As the end of the year approaches, we have just released two new titles that are perfect for placing under the Christmas tree:
- Les Chats des douze jours de Noël (written and illustrated by Don Daily)
- Les Chiens des douze jours de Noël (written by Amanda Sobotka and illustrated by Chris Dunn)
These children’s books are in French. They offer a visual reinterpretation of “The Twelve Days of Christmas”, one of the most famous traditional carols in the English-speaking world, covered by Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, the Carpenters, Luciano Pavarotti, the Muppets, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and many others.
The reinterpretations we are presenting here are quite special: they feature animals, each one more amazing than the last. Don Daily chose to create an irresistible collection of cats. Chris Dunn, for his part, has produced charming illustrations of dogs. 🐱🐶
All these little four-legged friends will keep you company during the twelve days between Christmas and Epiphany, warming the hearts of young and old alike. Festive picture books to share with the whole family during the holidays. 🎄
See you soon,
