About the notebook set

The book Une Monographie de Julien Delval was made possible thanks to a crowdfunding campaign launched in 2019. The two beautiful notebooks we are offering here were created following the great success of this campaign.

You can now purchase them exclusively as a set of two! Here is what the set contains:

• Les études couleurs. This color notebook brings together research carried out by Julien Delval for his works, all based on the imagination and the world of fantasy!
• Le Carnet de voyage. In black and white, this small booklet will transport you to the heart of landscapes and monuments that rival each other in realism and beauty.

Half of the pages are printed with the artist's drawings, and half is blank, leaving room for your own doodles, drawings and notes, the perfect size to tuck into your day!

About Julien Delval

Born in 1972, Julien Delval graduated from the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris. He became an illustrator working in the role-playing game industry for Multisim. The connections he made there led him to create numerous covers for adult and children's novels for various publishers. Still active in the gaming world, mainly with the publisher Days of Wonder, and after a stint in comics, he now devotes himself to more personal works, supported by the Daniel Maghen gallery. He depicts ancient, mythological, and fantastical worlds inspired by classical painting and 20th-century imagery.
