Enrique Jiménez Corominas began his professional career as a cartoonist in 1986, after winning the national "Zone 84" cartoon competition. After a number of short stories, the publisher Josep Toutain commissioned him to draw the series Tragaldabas (1989) for the magazine Creepy. This was followed by Historias del circo (script by Jorge Zentner, 1993), Cuando tus pies París (script by Jaime Baigne, 1992), Eye Gray (1999) and other one-shots that appeared in the magazines Cimoc and Heavy Metal. He is currently the official designer of the famous Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin for the Spanish edition.
