Gilbert Gascard, or Tibet (1931-2010), is only 16 when he joins the Bruxelles Disney Studios. He learns and draws in the shadow of Hergé, Laudy and Jacobs. His work is finally celebrated in 1953 when he creates the characters Chick Bill, a singing cow-boy travelling in the US and then Ric Hochet, born from a collaboration with Duchâteau in 1955.
