A crazy time at PLAYGROUNDS 🔥

From April 15 to 17, the 20th edition of the famous  Playgrounds festival took place. The event, held in Eindhoven, had the same goal as always: to collectively celebrate the fields of illustration, animation, film, video games, digital design, and art. ✨

To that end, the Playgrounds team had put together a (rich) program: lectures, panel discussions, creator booths, book signings, and meet-and-greets with renowned artists — such as Nathan Fowkes, Loish, Claire Keane, Iris Compiet, and Pernille Ørum. 📢

Right in the middle of it all, the Caurette-LiberDistri team was there too! As the only bookseller-publisher on site, we wanted to treat you and offer as much variety as possible. So we brought several hundred books, covering all kinds of stories and themes. 📚

For us, it was a lot of work leading up to the festival — we spent weeks preparing — but when we see the result, we know it was worth it! Yes, we can say it: you cleaned us out (much to our delight)! 🔥

We want to thank you very much for the warm welcome you gave us. Thank you for your enthusiasm, for your support, for the conversations we shared, and for that amazing atmosphere. We hope to see you again at the next edition! ❤️
