About Godiva Ghoul - a #hardcover solo book
Godiva Ghoul - a #hardcover solo book will take you through Godiva Ghoul's artworks, a combination of occultism, baroque, and contemporary Gothic horror, inhabited by tons of skeletons and supernatural beings not represented in any human religions. The book contains selected art from past years, as well as more recent pieces.
This new addition to the #hardcover solo book collection is a 304-page hardcover art book printed on 150gsm Arctic Volume paper. It has a glossy finish on the cover and measures 190 x 243 mm (7.5 x 9.6 in.). It comes as a single art book with its very own slipcover, displaying a playful personnage—an illustration other than the actual cover.
About artist Godiva Ghoul
Born in the 90s in a small medieval city in Italy, Godiva Ghoul was an awkward child who started drawing because it was easier than going out and socializing. As a young adult, they began their studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, before turning to a private school, where they gratuated with a degree in Illustration.
Godiva Ghoul always loved the allure of black and white, taking inspiration from comic artists like Crepax and Mike Mignola, as well as classic artists like Goya, Norman Lindsay, and Gustave Doré.
They now live in a secluded monastery, isolated from society, drawing all day with their beloved cats.
