The topic: the connection between cinema and illustration. Jean-Christophe explains that, to understand a film, one must sometimes look at the drawings, sketchbooks, storyboards, and all those books that give shape to the images before they appear on screen.
At Caurette editions, several books by authors working in the film industry have been published, such as Los Angeles by Sylvain Despretz (an independent director and screenwriter who has worked on music videos for Michael Jackson and Madonna) and Cathedral by John Howe (art director for the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films).
