Its pages bring colorful comic book characters to life, offering a biting and jubilant satire of power and marital relationships.

Whether you have seen the show or not, Shame of Thrones promises an enjoyable read, combining comedy and social criticism. This funny comic book is a must-read for fans of dark humor and satirical comics.

About the writer Jacques Chambon

Jacques Chambon does not like labels. He is never where you expect him to be. A chameleon-like actor and unpredictable writer, he strives to move from one genre to another, one repertoire to another, one audience to another. One evening on the stage of a theater, the next day on a film or television set, before heading to a recording studio to lend his voice to a cartoon character. He has made numerous appearances on the small and, sometimes, the big screen, but it was his unforgettable character Merlin the Enchanter in Kaamelott that allowed the general public to discover and appreciate him.

A prolific author, he has written some twenty comedies. He has also demonstrated his ability to tackle a more dramatic genre with his play Les Sentinelles. When cartoonist Michel Rodrigue suggested adapting his comedy Shame of Thrones into a comic book, he jumped at the chance!

About the illustrator Michel Rodrigue

Michel Rodrigue was born in Lyon in the 1960s. He has had many different experiences: professional athlete, puppeteer, actor, and even member of the French rugby team (for which he created the mascot), before discovering his vocation as a comic book author—a field where his expressive and dynamic style naturally finds its place.

The author of numerous albums, he is particularly appreciated by the public for the series he illustrates with brio, such as Clifton, Cubitos, Les Profs, etc. With his humor and talent, he has enjoyed a career as rich as it is unique.
