About Psychopomp II
For over three decades, Wayne Barlowe has been forging a netherworld entirely his own—a realm of flesh and blood, of wind and fire, of suffering and order. It is not a mere vision of damnation, but a complete and self-contained natural history.
Psychopomp II is both a continuation and an expansion of the 2021 Psychopomp I—a new descent into the abyss. Inside these pages await more than 90 new artworks, alongside a wealth of previously unseen creative notes.
In this new chapter, you will encounter colossal structures adrift in the void, deep-dwelling creatures with disjointed limbs, and skies forever churning with storms of ember and ash. Souls are treated as resources, exploited by disheartened demon lords. And yet, all of it follows a logic. Even if that logic belongs to Hell.
About the Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition comes with two dust jackets: the original dust jacket plus an exclusive additional jacket on specialty paper, featuring a design that echoes the book's theme for added protection and collectible appeal. All three edges of the book block are treated with edge painting—a fine post-press technique that applies color or patterns to the page edges.
Each copy of this edition features a limited-edition number, ensuring every book is truly one of a kind. Each copy is also hand-signed by the artist.
