About Francesca Baerald

Francesca Baerald is a Traditional Artist and Cartographer from Italy, known for her works and maps published in books, video games, RPGs, and games like Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Warcraft, Diablo IV, Dragon Age, Game of Thrones, Dragonbane, Gloomhaven, and many others.

Watercolors, ink, acrylic, and oil colors are her daily tools and companions. From her studio in the Italian countryside, she loves to bring fantastical worlds to life through detailed maps and lively paintings, exploring them for companies such as Wizards of the Coast, Blizzard, Square Enix, Paradox Interactive, Fantasy Flight Games, Free League, Penguin Random House, and Dark Horse.
