The Wicked + The Divine: THE COVERS VERSION is a gorgeous hardcover art book collecting all 126 covers created for the comic series. This includes every cover by series artist Jamie McKelvie and colourist Matt Wilson, along with every variant cover by a bunch of other artists. 

About the Deluxe Edition

This is the book in its Imperial Phase. A bigger, fancier companion to the previous four hardcover deluxe editions of The Wicked + The Divine, this version is bound in sumptuous black cloth, with a stunning stamped holographic foil title on the cover, spine, and back cover. It has holographic gilded pages. It has full-colour, custom endpages. It has a sewn binding with custom head and tail bands and a black marker-ribbon. A gorgeous work of art. 

A word from the “WicDiv” team

"Ten years ago, The Wicked + The Divine started its epic 51-issue run. We always wanted to treat our cast like superstars, and for the cover of every issue Jamie McKelvie and Matt Wilson strove to present them as icons. 

But it wasn't enough. We recruited artists we loved to join us, and every one of their covers showed the cast through their own subjective, brilliant lens. Our hope was that if people wanted to know what was best in comics from 2014-2019, they could just flick through our alt covers. That was the goal.

In short, we have a lot of beautiful covers. We always wanted to do a nice big coffee-table art book of them. We never got around to it. Until now.

While the main attraction is presenting covers in a super-sized hardback format (240mm x 320mm or 9.44" x 12.59") we’re also including extra material, such as Kieron Gillen writing an introduction to the book and Jamie McKelvie explaining his thinking behind each arc of the covers. Also included are making-of features, where Jamie demonstrates how he goes from concept to sketch to inks to the finished work."
