About the art print
This gem of a drawing was an original commissioned by a personal friend of the artist. We are delighted that it has been generously shared with us as a limited edition!
The familiar characters from Rudyard Kipling's iconic story have been spotted, and we are privileged to catch a rare glimpse of Mowgli with his two protagonists in a moment of companionable repose! The wise, always alert and protective Bagheera, the prideful and cunning Shere Khan, and the ever curious orphan, Mowgli, stopped mid-way clamboring up a branch; both he and Bagheera have caught sight of our gaze. So much activity and emotion is conveyed in this rendering!
Editions Caurette participated in the March, 2024 IAMAG Master Classes event in Paris at Les Halles, and after one of his presentations, Iain McCaig signed each limited edition poster, a high quality giclée print. Thank you, Iain!
