It tells the story of the adventures of two childhood friends turned enemies drawn into the megalopolis of Neo-Tokyo as they fight for survival. A dramatic story including superpowers, political intrigue, and revolution. The manga was made into an animated film in 1988 providing the scene for this poster, and proved to be a huge success, and not just in Japan, taking the anime beyond the Japanese borders, contributing to its worldwide popularity.
