Hokusai: An Artists' Tribute is a celebration of the artist's work and influence that has reached far past the borders of Japan. 3dtotal Publishing has had the fantastic opportunity to take thirteen of the master's drawings and bring them to life in full colour with the help of professional artists across the industry today. Our carefully chosen artists have created thoughtful recreations of Hokusai's original line works in their own style and share insights into the inspiration behind their interpretations. The original works have been selected from The Great Picture Book of Everything, a collection held at the British Museum consisting of 103 postcard-sized brush drawings detailing Hokusai's working methods.
