CANETE Eric

Eric Canete came to the United States when he was about 12 years old. He attended public school but dropped out early because he started working at a very young age.

At around 17, he was creating backgrounds for various animated TV shows such as X-Men and Exo-Squad. He then landed his first full-time position as a character designer in Phantom 2040.

As a self-taught artist, the best “school” for him was working alongside other professionals. Some of his past projects in the animation industry include Aeon Flux, Men in Black, Dark Fury, The Batman, Justice League Unlimited, and Ben 10; and in comics: Cybernary 2. 0, Iron Man: Enter the Mandarin, Comic Book Tattoo, and The End League.
