Ana Miralles was born in Madrid in 1959. After graduating from the Valencia School of Fine Arts in 1982, she collaborated with independent comics magazines, regularly publishing stories that were often sensual and intended for adults, and giving her vision as an artist and woman in a field that had previously been reserved for cartoonists. Her numerous creations: Eva Medusa (Glénat), À la recherche de la licorne (Glénat) and of course Djinn (Dargaud), have earned her international recognition and multiple awards. The artist adds to the sensuality of her characters the beauty of the motifs, tattoos, landscapes and hair that have become her graphic signature.
