Official painter for the Marine, member of the Académie des Arts & Sciences de la mer, Jean-Yves Delitte is an architect-designer. During his studies, he publishes his first comics pages in the famous Tintin weekly magazine. He illustrates Les Aventures de Donnington and Les Coulisses du Pouvoir (with the scenarist Philippe Richelle); Tanâtos (with Didier Convard); Les Brigades du Tigre (with Xavier Dorison and Fabien Nury) while making to tetralogies: Le Neptune and Les Nouveaux Tsars. He developes his taste for the sea in the series Black Crow.
