Dorian Vallejo - The Collector's Editions (Standard)

About The Collector's Editions

Dorian Vallejo has been selling copies his book Drawings Inspired by Life with an original drawing or painting for years, and some of you may own this edition. What he did not expect is that the original art he created would later become their own independent body of work.

This is how The Collector's Editions came to be. It is the collection of all the original artwork Dorian Vallejo has produced to include with his book. The drawings are now available in one fabulous book, a collector's edition of collector's editions! The book's foreword is written by the inimitable artist and illustrator George Pratt.

About Dorian Vallejo

Born into an artistic family, Dorian Vallejo's career began when he started illustrating book covers as a student at the School of Visual Arts, in New York. As the field increasingly began to incorporate the use of computer-generated images, Vallejo felt the need to pursue other avenues with his art. His love of traditional media and the human figure drew him to portraiture and to focus more intently on his personal work, which he shows in galleries and online.

These days, he spends most of his time creating paintings and drawings for sale through galleries and directly to collectors.
