About the print

A sleepy afternoon on a sunny day, the cool, silent interior of a venerable church contrasts with the bright sunshine and pop of colour outside, with the twittering of birds easily imagined, blending harmoniously with the lulling hum of the cicadas. The stately dignity and solace of the church is sneakily contrasted with the fading graffiti on the narrow pathway leading to the entrance of the church. And our solitary character is contemplative, a smile on their face.

Éditions Caurette participated in the March 2024 IAMAG Master Classes event in Paris, and after one of her presentations, Angela Sung signed each of the 50 prints.

Portugal Church measures 30x40 cm (11.8x15.7 inches),  and is a high quality giclée print.

About the artist

Angela Sung is a plein-air painter who works in animation. She finds ways to apply what she learns from practicing traditional paintings to her digital work.  Angela has an impeccable art CV, having worked with Blur WBPA Netflix Dreamworks, on projects such as: Bad Guys, Kipo, Voltron, Wolfsmoke, Legend of Korra. She also is the co-founder of the websites @warriorpainters and @warriorartcamp, that provide art courses.
