To mark François Avril's exhibition, “324 dessins” (324 drawings), which took place in Brussels in 2021, the Huberty & Breyne gallery is publishing a book of the same name, in partnership with the magazine Les Arts dessinés. This exhibition catalog brings together all of the works on display. Interior scenes, landscapes, cities, and architectural settings follow one another throughout the pages. This is a unique opportunity to discover the sensitive world of François Avril. 

This edition has been printed in a limited run of 1,500 copies.

About the artist François Avril

François Avril is a French artist, illustrator, and comic book author. He is known for his minimalist pictorial works and refined graphic style. After a dazzling debut in the fanzine Band' à Part, he published albums with a distinguished aesthetic, such as Doppelgänger SA, Le voleur de ballerines, and Le chemin des 3 places. His hand has graced the covers of Lire (French magazine) and Libération (French newspaper). He has also distinguished himself with his masterful children's books. Printmaking, engraving, editorial illustration, advertising: everything related to drawing interests him.
