About The Big Book of Polleiro

Polleiro is a Spanish artist known for depicting mature (very mature) men in all their voluptuous, hairy glory, in a style that is both realistic and caricatural. He draws page after page, filling sketchbook after sketchbook. Some of his drawings are elaborate and detailed, most done in beautiful watercolors, others are just scribbles in black marker or pencil. Some have a setting, others don't. It doesn't matter, what matters is that he “gets these big guys” out of his head and puts them on paper. And his head is full of them!

And they are big! Forget abs: Polleiro's men hide them under their big bellies, with love handles everywhere. They have hair on their chests, legs, arms, necks, and backs. In a world that celebrates (and idealizes) youth, the artist shows us that gray-haired old men, burly bears, and big, round men have never been so sexy. They have decided to enjoy life to the fullest and don't care what people think of them. And that's what makes Polleiro's drawings so funny.

This book is a collection of drawings selected from dozens of his sketchbooks.

About Polleiro

Ismael Ferrer is an artist from Barcelona known as Polleiro. He is an experienced comic book artist who became interested in bear bodies and sexuality during the pandemic. Today, he specializes in watercolors and erotic illustrations of bears and small-clothed men!
