All the books were signed by Aaron Blaise during the Playgrounds' festival in Berlin (May 2025). 

In this second volume, the artist presents a selection of over a hundred of his works, both digital and “traditional”. Discover a huge variety of animal drawings, each more breathtaking than the last. From elephants to pumas, Aaron Blaise captures all the grandeur and beauty of these majestic creatures.

"My goal with sharing my art is to have the viewer see through not just my eyes, but to also see through the eyes of my subjects. I want the viewer to empathize with the characters in my work. I feel that empathy is one of the most powerful traits we can possess.  To feel and understand another being beyond yourself is what elevates us and binds us. It's my hope that you can look through these pages and be moved in some way. I hope that theses images bring joy and evoke emotion."

About Aaron Blaise

Aaron Blaise is an animator and filmmaker – he has worked for films such as Brother Bear (2003), Aladdin (1992) and Beauty and the Beast (1991). He was nominated for Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Besides animation, he also does a variety of concept art, character designs, background art, environmental art, character studies, etc.
