About The Kong Crew series

The year is 1947, fourteen years after Kong's victory over the US Army. Manhattan has been evacuated. The island is a restricted area under heavy surveillance... by the Kong Crew! This elite unit includes Virgil and his faithful dachshund Spit, as well as hothead Bradley, Colonel Pearl, and his daughter Betty. Meanwhile, in the jungle of Manhattan, idealistic scientist Jonas and disillusioned journalist Irvin are trying to understand what is causing the flora and fauna to mutate at such a rapid pace... without getting eaten in the process! It seems that the former metropolis hides many secrets...

About Éric Hérenguel

Éric Hérenguel was born in France in 1966. He is a well-known comic book author in Europe. He is equally skilled at science fiction and westerns as he is at steampunk, offbeat humor, and heroic fantasy. One of his cult series is The Kong Crew, the first volume of which was published in January 2018 in comic book format by Caurette. He has also worked on several animated series for children.
