Samuel Boulesteix is a French sculptor who specializes in creating bronze figures from comic books.

He likes to describe himself as self-taught, a passionate artist—even at the risk of sounding a bit amateurish—because he learned everything on the job, by taking an interest, making mistakes, correcting himself, and striving to create beautiful things, always on the lookout for the right gesture, a technical trick that would make his life easier, or a piece of work that would make him feel a little greater.

After 22 years of intensive practice, he has certainly become a recognized professional in his field, but he still sees himself as a great explorer: he loves to challenge himself with new tasks and to constantly push the boundaries of his skills a little further.
