Exploration is Moon’s fourth art book, published in 2021. Out of stock for several years, it is set to be reprinted as part of the Kickstarter campaign for Silence, the Nantes-based artist’s brand-new art book. Great news for everyone who has been eagerly awaiting it!

Shortly before Exploration came to be, Moon was drawing various stories, moving freely from one to the next. After a few months of creating, one of the narratives finally took center stage, and the illustrator wanted to take it further. Exploration truly came into being when Moon realized that these graphic stories were all part of the same universe, that they all revolved around a central story. He followed this path and explored what presented itself to him, guided by the idea that the journey is more important than the destination. This book is the result of his experiment. Inside, discover a splendid collection of illustrations driven by the artist’s poetic and symbolic imagination — illustrations that, in some way, are all intimately connected to one another.
