About the 21 art book

21 is the second original art book by Malaysian illustrator Zeen Chin. It is inspired by the creative journey of his previous book RECHILD, but also by the urban legend symbolizing the weight of the soul as 21 grams. In the book, the artist combines illustrations, comics, and sketches. With his unique color style and oriental fantasy elements of ghosts and spirits, he depicts the story of a young puppet maker, named “21”, who bravely pursues the dreams in her heart.

The art book consists of 60 new full-color illustrations, 22 pages of black-and-white comics, and 22 pages of black-and-white sketches.

About artist Zeen Chin

Zeen Chin is as a freelance illustrator and concept artist. He has worked on numerous renowned game, animation, and film projects, including collaborations on League of Legends, Kingdom Death, Chronos Gate, Legend of the Cryptids, Galaxy Saga, and Green Snake.

Known for his distinctive color style and elements of Eastern fantasy, he has created several personal work series, including RECHILD, 21 et SKEEN. These works have earned him worldwide recognition and praise, as well as collaborations with various international brands.
