Born in 1989, Amélie Fléchais is a French children's book illustrator and author. As a talented young artist, she continues to impresse her readers with the richness and uniqueness of the universes she has created throughout her carreer. In her work process, Amélie Fléchais uses gouache paint and ink, paired with some informatique adjustments, all of that caracterizing the unique aesthetic of her work.
She has published three books: Chemin perdu, Le Petit Loup Rouge and, most recently, a collaboration with the scriptwriter Séverine Gauthier entitled L'Homme Montagne - for which she has won several awards. Amélie Fléchais also published Les Bergères Guerrières (Shepherdess Warriors by its English title), which combines feminism, a bit of humor, and a fantasy world. In addition to that, she works for children's press and regularly exhibits her work in Europe and in the USA.
