Born in Decembre 1954, Christian Rossi takes an interest in arts very early on. He starts his career at the Estienne school in Paris and was one of the students of the great Joseph 'Jijé' Gillain.
After working in marketing for a while (as a roughman and as an independent illustrator), he starts to get a real recognition as an artist in 1979. He always tried to adapt his technique to his different collaborators, which he then used later on in his stories and series.
Rossi, since the beginning of his career, has been working with the most famous publishing houses in France: Glénat, Casterman, Dargaud etc.
Chevauchées, un artbook de Christian Rossi qui résume sa vie et son œuvre. 200 pages dont 120 au contenu inédit et une cinquantaine de planches de bandes dessinée. French version only!
