Vincent Mallié is a French comicbook illustrator. He dropped out of university to start art training in a drawing studio in 1992, which he completed with two more years studying graphics. His first comic was published in 1996, followed by two other science-fiction and cyberpunk series. In 2010, he was awarded the Grand Prize at the Des Planches et des Vaches festival for his complete works. He illustrates some of Loisel’s stories, such as Le Grand Mort and La Quête de l’Oiseau du Temps, an emblematic fantasy comic. Mallié is renowned for his watercolor and digital colorization illustrations.
