Jean-Baptiste MONGE

Jean-Baptiste Monge is a French-Canadian fantasy artist. He finds inspiration in literature, cinema, painting, and illustration. He has been awarded multiple prizes for his work, such as the Art&Fact Prize in 2009 at the Utopiales festival and the Silver Award in the book illustration category by Spectrum Fantastic Art in 2012. Self-taught, Monge uses different techniques to create, such as traditional and digital painting and sculpture. He has also worked in the film industry, on the movie Ballerina by designing its main characters, and on Gnome Alone (Netflix), working on the pre-concepts.
