Éric Hérenguel - The Kong Crew (Blank Cover)

About the Blank Cover Edition

This item is the Blank Cover edition of the album The Kong Crew in its full-color, French-language version, published by Ankama. The content is identical; only the cover differs.

The Blank Cover edition is a book with a white cover. More specifically, the cover is made of cardboard and features drawing paper, allowing the artist to draw a unique cover design on it.

Each copy is numbered (out of 99) and signed by Éric Hérenguel. The price of €85 includes the cost of the book plus the original drawing.

You can choose to purchase the book alone, without the drawing, for €35, if you would like to meet Éric Hérenguel at a book signing, for example (in which case, you can pay him directly for the drawing).

About the book

It is 1947, fourteen years after Kong’s victory over the U.S. Army. Manhattan has been evacuated. The island is a restricted zone under heavy surveillance… by the Kong Crew! Virgil and his faithful dachshund, Spit, serve in this elite unit, alongside hothead Bradley, Colonel Pearl, and his daughter Betty. Meanwhile, in the Manhattan jungle, Jonas, the idealistic scientist, and Irvin, the disillusioned journalist, are trying to figure out what is causing the flora and fauna to mutate at breakneck speed… But it seems the former metropolis hides many secrets…

Brought together for the first time in a stunning deluxe complete collection, here is the full story of The Kong Crew in its original French version and in grayscale, created from scans of the original art pages.
