Born in 1967 in Hayange, Frédéric Pillot studied at the Strasbourg School of Decorative Arts. He began by publishing historical picture books and comic books, then turned his attention to illustration for children's literature with titles such as Edmond the Dog and Memories of the Old Oak (published under the title Balbuzar). In 2021, he served as patron of the 13th edition of the Strasbulles festival. Following a spectacular exhibition dedicated to his work during the 40th edition of Quai des Bulles festival (Saint-Malo), the exhibition will continue at the Maghen Gallery.
