Chris Dunn graduated from Bath Spa University (UK) in 2008 and began his artistic career as a freelance illustrator. He started entering competitions in representational art, particularly watercolor, to compare his techniques with other painters, and won the Bath Art Prize in 2011. In 2013, he received a commission from the Galerie Daniel Maghen in Paris, for which he painted several illustrations inspired by Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows universe. This experience allowed him to become a full-time artist specializing in traditional children’s book watercolor illustration. After working with authors, he now writes and illustrates his own stories and characters.
