August Bookstore Releases: "Petzi et l’anniversaire de Pingo"
A few days ago, we announced the release of Daniel Boucard’s Les Haches in French bookstores.
Today, we would like to tell you about another release: Petzi et l'anniversaire de Pingo. 🎂
That’s right: while this book has been available on LiberDistri for a while, it has only been on the shelves of your favorite bookstores since August 26… so head on over and check it out! 👀
For those who aren’t familiar with it, Petzi is a children’s animal series created in Denmark in 1951 by Vilhelm and Carla Hansen. It was such a hit that the adventures of this iconic character have been translated into more than ten languages.
Illustrated by Thierry Capezzone, Petzi et l'anniversaire de Pingo is the fourteenth volume in the series. It is a story full of tenderness, humor, and friendship that will delight young readers as well as those nostalgic for classics of children’s literature. 📚

Petzi, Riki, and the Admiral are planning a big party for Pingo’s birthday. They have to send out the invitations, gather flour, eggs, butter, and milk to make pancakes, pick berries to make lemonade, and find a mountain of funny hats… And to make the surprise perfect, they have to organize everything without arousing the birthday boy’s suspicion. What a job!
