Eight comic artists followed Casanova's steps in Venice, the great city which inspired the two Italian painters of the 18th century, Canaletto and Guardi.
These artists are: François Avril, Griffo, Miles Hyman, Kim Jung Gi, Tanino Liberatore, Loustal, Milo Manara et Zep.
Venice is admired by many. Among them: Canaletto and Francesco Guardi, two painters of the 18th century, who studied the art of "vedute", these souvenirs brought home by the travellers making their "Grand Tour". But there is also another Venice, less official, full of secrets... A Venice with casinos and narrow streets, where the scandalous Giacomo Casanova would spend some time...
Eight famous comic artists realised original works "on the spot", in which they set this great Venician adventurer and represented different points of view of the city. They were totally free to decided what and how.
